Howard County OAI Virtual 50+ Job Fair

The May 7, 2026, Howard County, Virtual 50+ Employment Expo was sponsored by the Howard County Office on Aging & Independence (OAI) and supported by the Jewish Council for the Aging® (JCA).

The employment expo was for jobseekers aged 50 or older and employers with at least three job openings.

The employment expo allowed jobseekers to network, learn about key job search topics, and connect with local employers about their companies and job openings. Employers responded to questions live and then continued answering questions in the chat after their scheduled presentation. Registration was free, open to all, and required. Jobseeker Registration

Employers with at least three job openings connected with experienced jobseekers aged 50 and over. The expo enabled employers to introduce their companies, share job opportunities, and answer questions from jobseekers. Employer registration was complimentary and required.

Jobseekers visit the Employer Contact webpage to review the list of employers who participated in the May 7 employment expo. Contact information and hyperlinks to their career pages are posted on the employer’s tab.

The Howard County Virtual 50+ Employment Expo is free. The employment expo is for all jobseeker aged 50+.

At the Virtual 50+ Employment Expo, you can

Network with other Jobseekers in chat.
Attend two virtual morning Workshops relevant to the 50+ Jobseekers.
Hear from area employers talk about their organization and openings.
Ask the employers question in chat.
